Mitchell Lake Trail photos

Photos taken along the way to Mitchell Lake in the Indian Peaks wilderness area in Colorado, August 7, 2003.

Kaeru stops to put on sunblock near the trailhead -- frogs are supposed to be green, not red! The trailhead is at about 10,500 feet elevation so the sun is very strong here.

Looking upstream from a footbridge. I almost killed myself by falling on top of a dead tree while scrambling around off-trail along the bank of the creek off the left side of the picture.
