The Amur Leopard seemed to be very unhappy about being stuck in a cage.
Perhaps this peacock lurking in the shrubbery nearby contributed to the leopard's irritation?
One of the several prairie dogs in this exhibit.
The giraffes live on the other side of the main path.
The zebras share the giraffe pen.
A random patch of staghorn sumac growing by the path.
And some pretty double-flowered daylilies as well.
No surprise, these bee-balm flowers attracted a lot of bees.
So did these daisies.
One of the zoo's black swans takes a good stretch.
This lemur lives in the tropical forest building.
So does this duck.
The lion wasn't interested in doing anything other than cat-napping.
Baby gnu with wise old gnu. These are also known as wildebeests.
