I think these late-summer purple asters are the ones called Late
Purple Asters. (Duh!)

Butter-and-eggs.

There were big patches of touch-me-nots growing by the river.
|

Here's a view down-river, with the Mass Ave bridge in the background and a
big patch of pretty white flowers in the foreground. You might be able to
tell from this photo that it was extremely windy on this day.

The white flowers are Virgin's Bower clematis.
|
|
Many of the trees here have pretty flowers in the spring. Looks like this
one is a crabapple, with equally pretty bright red fruits. These are about
an inch across.
